Written by on 1st December 2020

We are delighted to reopen Council run Gloucestershire libraries from 2nd December. All county council run libraries will offer public access for the browsing and selection of books, and computer use. Services at the majority of Community Libraries will also reopen – please check the individual webpages for full details.

Opening times for all libraries, including Community Libraries, can be found at: www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/libraries and posters showing opening times will be displayed at each library.

Browse, borrow and use Computers:

During open sessions at Council run Libraries you may enter the building, browse, borrow and return books/reservations and computers may be booked for use. You can book up to 50 minutes computer use at a time as a member of Gloucestershire Libraries – the computers are booked out for cleaning every hour. You can book 3 sessions at a time, up to 8 days in advance. Please check individual websites for Community Libraries information.

We also continue to offer our request and collection services for those customers who wish to use them.
