Pershore has a new art gallery

Jilly Oxlade- Arnott, a highly recognised artist, has recently opened an art gallery on Pershore High Street. Check out the blog post on our Vale and Spa website to learn more about her practice and all the information you need to plan your visit.

Evesham Live

Evesham Live are putting on a number of events at Evesham Town Hall and across Evesham including comedy and music. Check out their website for more details.

The Henrician

The Henrician are hosting performances from Bretforton Silver Band and the Wychavon Festival of Brass. You can also book to see ‘Dick Whittington’ in pantomime. Check out their website for more details.

Number 8 Pershore

At Number 8, Pershore Arts group are back with their exhibition  ‘New Beginnings’ and there will also be an opportunity to see jewellery made by local artist Fiona Cameron.

Number 8 will also be hosting the ‘Into Film Festival 2021’, the worlds largest youth film festival. Other film screening highlights include ‘Last Night in Soho’, ‘Misha and the Wolves’ and ‘The French Dispatch’.

For Christmas they will be showing ‘Belshazzar’s Feast – Mistletoe and Whine’, ‘Snow White’ in pantomime, ‘The Nutcracker’ by the Royal Ballet recorded at the Royal Opera House and ‘Christmas with André Rieu’. Check out their website for more details.

The Regal

The Regal has an exciting collection of film screenings including ‘Time to Die’, ‘House of Gucci’ and ‘Spencer’. They will also be showing ‘Dick Whittington’ in pantomime in December. Check out their website for more details.

The Norbury Droitwich

The Norbury Theatre has a variety of live performances coming up over the next couple of months including ‘HMS Pinafore’, ‘Children’s Theatre’, ‘A Surprise for Farmer Christmas’, ‘A Wymsical Christmas’ and ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarves’ in pantomime in January. Check out their website for more details.

Live and Local

Live and Local are now celebrating a return to live shows. In Wychavon Hartlebury Parish Hall and Bishampton Village Hall are both hosting upcoming live shows. Over the lockdown Live and Local created the Living Room Project where artists had the opportunity to work with community groups to develop a piece of work. The Fleece Inn at Bretforton worked with artist Suzanne Tumnus to create an online ‘Storywalk’ based on face to face & zoom meetings with villagers.  If you are interested in finding out more about hosting live events in your area please email Live and Local.

Pershore Craft and Chat Group
